Patient-centric sustainability
Camurus’ commitment to improve the lives of patients with severe and chronic diseases has a clear sustainability perspective. The ambition is to create patient and societal benefit in parallel by minimizing risks and environmental impact throughout the value chain.
Our sustainability agenda
Camurus’ sustainability work includes several dimensions in the ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) area. The strategy is divided into four focus areas – patients, people, planet and responsible business – with established ambitions, goals, key figures and activities and aims to contribute to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

UN Global Compact
In June 2023, Camurus was accepted as a participant of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), the world's largest sustainability network for companies. As a participant, Camurus commits working to contribute to the UN's Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs) and the ten principles of the UNGC within the areas of human rights, labor law, environment and anti-corruption.
