Behshad Sheldon
President Camurus Inc
Behshad Sheldon joined Camurus in 2024 and holds the overall responsibility for leading Camurus’ organization in the US.
She has more than 25 years of experience from leading positions within the international pharmaceutical industry, including as President & CEO of Braeburn Pharmaceuticals up to 2017, and from senior positions within Smithkline Beecham, Bristol-Myers Squibb and Otsuka Pharmaceuticals, where she led successful blockbuster brands such as Glucophage, Plavix®, and Abilify®. Most recently she was a Managing Director at Biotech Value Advisors where she supported biotech and pharmaceutical companies with pre-launch and commercialization efforts in the US.
Behshad holds a B.Sc. in Neuroscience from University of Rochester, US.
Priya Brooke
Head of Sales and Marketing
Priya Brooke joined Camurus in April 2024 and holds overall responsibility for US Sales and Marketing, and for driving the strategy and build-up of the sales and marketing operations in the US.
She has more than 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry across multiple disciplines, including leadership roles in sales and marketing, market research and business intelligence, strategic planning and decision analysis. Most recently she worked at Johnson and Johnson where for 8 years she held senior positions in Immunology, Cardiovascular and Metabolics, and Infectious Diseases franchises. Previous experiences include Director of Marketing, Abilify Maintena®, at Otsuka, and various commercial roles at Bristol-Myers Squibb’s global and US operations.
Priya holds a MSFS degree in International Business from Georgetown University, Washington, DC.
Sonnie Kim, Pharm D.
Head of Medical Affairs
Sonnie Kim joined Camurus in 2024 and lead the US Medical Affairs team in the commercialization of CAM2029 in the US.
She has over 20 years of industry, clinical and academic experience, including strategic and operational leadership Medical Affairs and R&D. Most recently she was Chief Operation Officer at Pocket Naloxone, Inc., leading Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs and Medical Affairs in the development of an over-the-counter naloxone product. Previous she was Chief Scientific Officer and VP of Medical Affairs at Braeburn, Inc., where she led and oversaw Clinical Development, Pharmacovigilance, R&D Operations, Biostatistics, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, contributing to FDA approval of two products. Earlier experiences include Director of Medical Affairs/Hospital Medicine at Otsuka America Pharmaceutical Inc, educational strategy lead at Medscape, LLC, VP and Board member of Columbia Medcom Group Inc, and its subsidiary, Medicalliance Inc, and a teaching and clinical role at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy.
Sonnie holds a Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy.
Enrique Arvelo
Head of Commercial Operations & Analytics
Enrique Arvelo joined Camurus in 2024 and leads the analytics, insights, and operations efforts to support successful product launches in the US.
He has close to 30 years of experience from progressive leadership roles in commercial analytics and operations at biotech and pharma companies including Biotech Value Advisors, R-Pharm US, Braeburn Pharmaceuticals, Otsuka, and Bristol-Myers Squibb where he specialized in driving analytics for product launches and lifecycle management. Earlier career experience includes Procter & Gamble and Coca-Cola Company focused on market research and commercial analytics in various international markets.
Enrique holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science with a focus on Infographic Visualization and Communication, École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland and a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Universidad Católica Andres Bello, Venezuela.
Brenda Blair
Head of Market Access, US Pricing & Reimbursement
Brenda Blair joined Camurus in 2024 and is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive pricing, contracting, and payer engagement initiatives for optimal market positioning, value, and access to Camurus’ products in the US.
She has nearly 20 years of experience working in the biopharmaceutical industry. Brenda holds a strong track record in developing and executing integrated market access strategies and building payer relationships. Most recently she was Vice President of Market Access at Vectura Fertin Pharma where she led US and Global Market Access, as well as Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) strategy for early and late-stage development assets. Earlier experiences include as Head of US Market Access at Shionogi, where she developed comprehensive market access capabilities and drove successful product launches. Brenda has also worked on multiple brand launches in various commercial leadership roles at Sanofi, Lilly, and Spectrum Pharmaceuticals.
Brenda holds a BS in Animal Science from UC Davis, California.
Yousseff Khan
Head of Patient Access and Trade
Yousseff Khan joined Camurus in 2024 and is responsible for building and operationalizing patient services strategies including defining the distribution strategy that maximize patient access to Camurus’ therapies in the US.
He has more than 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry holding progressive strategic leadership roles across market access, patient services and trade, market research, forecasting, competitive intelligence, and commercial analytics. Prior to joining Camurus, he was the Sr. Director, Access and Affordability Integration Lead for the migraine franchise at Pfizer. Earlier experience includes roles of increasing responsibility at Biohaven Pharmaceuticals, Teva Pharmaceuticals, NPS Pharma, UCB and other small to mid-size organizations.
Yousseff holds a BS in Pharmaceutical Marketing and Management as well as an MBA in Pharmaceutical Business, both from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia.
Nicodemo Fiorentino
Legal & Compliance Counsel
Nicodemo Fiorentino joined Camurus, Inc. in September 2024 as Legal & Compliance Counsel, overseeing the company's US legal and compliance functions.
Before joining Camurus, Nicodemo served as Compliance Counsel for the US operations of Guerbet, a French pharmaceutical group specializing in diagnostic and interventional imaging. In this leadership role, he guided compliance strategies, implemented regulatory frameworks, and ensured alignment with US laws across promotional and commercial activities. At Sun Pharma, he managed key compliance initiatives and partnered with internal teams to enhance compliance operations for the company’s specialty medications in dermatology, ophthalmology, and oncology. Earlier in his career at G&M Health LLC, Nicodemo provided regulatory insights and compliance solutions to life sciences clients, such as Janssen, Genentech, and Merck.
Nicodemo holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Rowan University and a Juris Doctor from Rutgers University School of Law.
